Rob Haeusler is a Marine veteran and longtime Akron resident with a diverse professional background. He earned an AAS in HVAC from Reading Area Community College and a BS in Psychology, with a focus in addiction and recovery, from Liberty University — completed during his time working as a corrections officer . Currently, Rob oversees HVAC maintenance and operations at a local nonprofit continuing care facility.

 

He is running for Akron Borough Council to help preserve the small-town charm he values while strengthening the community. Rob is dedicated to improving parks, expanding community events, supporting the fire department, and championing local small businesses. He also aims to work with council to restore important services like leaf and yard waste removal and to support the Ephrata Library.
